School Shoe Donation Project 2024
We're delighted to announce our school shoe donation project is back!
2023 was our first time running the School Shoe Donation Project and it was a great success. With over 100 pairs of shoes donated, we were able to clean and repair 85% of those donations. The remaining 15% were then donated to charity. We met some amazing people and we hope that in 2024 we will be able to help more people struggling with the cost of living crisis.
2024 - We need YOU to help us once again. Do you have any footwear laying around that you no longer need? You can donate to one of the places below between the 19th July and the 13th August.
Last year we were asked by a few parents if they could donate bags - this year we are going to give this a try. So if you have any backpacks or gym bags that you would like to donate, please drop them off in the same donation bins as the shoes.
Make sure you check the opening times for Pocklington Arts Centre and SPARK:York - details can be found on the website links above.
At Pocklington Arts Centre the donation bin will be located at the reception in the foyer.
At SPARK:York the donation bin will be located next to the managers office on the ground floor towards the back.

What Donations Do We Accept?
FOOTWEAR
All types of footwear - school shoes, wellies, football boots, plimsolls, trainers and anygthing else you send your child to school in.
Sizes - from toddler right through to adult.
Condition - we will take any and all donations except for footwear with holes in the heels and soles.
BAGS
Types - Gym Bags, Boot Bags and Backpacks.
Condition - As long as the zip is not broken we will accept all.
Pop Up Events 2024
Join us on the 19th August at Holy Trinity Church, Goodramgate and 20th August at SPARK:York where we will be giving away all pre-loved shoes donated for FREE - full details below.
